Why this club

Everton were founded in 1878, helped start the Football League, and played at Goodison Park for 133 years before moving to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on the docks. They are older than Liverpool — the 1892 split created their neighbours — and have nine English titles, most of them a long time ago. The support is stubborn, humorous, and deeply Scouse. Choose Everton if you want a historic club living through a rebuild, not a finished product.
